CGA Values

It's been 13 years since we created our current CGA values, which are:

  • We do what we say
  • We are open and honest
  • We put our diverse communities at the heart of all we do
  • We promote empowerment
  • We passionately promote Gateway
  • We value and support all our people


We recently started the process of renewing our values to reflect who we are and what it means to be CGA. We kicked off this process with CGA staff by asking what 3 words they would use to describe Community Gateway. We now want to know what your thoughts are.

The most popular words so far are: honesty, teamwork, people, family, approachable, friendly, welcoming, caring, supportive, adaptable, flexible, diverse, inclusive, ambition, future, passion, customer-focused, customer service, communication, empowerment, ownership, accountability, leadership.

Our next steps will be to carefully review all your feedback before undertaking more consultation with staff and tenants, to make sure that our values mean something to all.
