Can anyone rent a plot?
Yes! If you are interested in gardening and growing your own fruit and veg then you can register your interest for a plot by contacting Sharon Grimshaw.
How many plots are there in total?
There are 11 standard plots and 2 disability plots across the site.
Are there any plots available currently?
We usually have a waiting list for plots but the best thing to do is register your interest and check this page regularly.
How much does it cost to rent a plot?
If you are a current Community Gateway tenant, the annual cost for an allotment plot is £25.
For non-tenants, the annual cost is £30.
Can the site be accessed anytime?
Yes, if you are a registered plot owner, you can access the site any time, including your plot, the poly tunnel and the storage container.
Can I bring children or family?
If you are a registered plot owner, you are very welcome to bring your children or family as long as you take full responsibility for their safety and behaviour on site!
Are pet's allowed on site?
Unfortunately not! Whilst we love animals, not everyone does so in the interest of keeping plot owners safe and happy our policy is no pets on site.
