As a tenant, you can help us decide where we spend our Community Fund. The fund is available to local community groups who want to run activities in Preston and beyond that benefit you as a tenant.
Some of our previously funded projects include:
A support group for those effected by suicide in Preston
A peer support group
20 x gym passes for 6 months, for girls under 16 in the Preston area
Sports sessions for young people in half-term
A football project for small tots aged 6-7
Boxing and fitness life skills sessions
A networking group for mothers and a mother and child playgroup
Groups can apply for up to £1,000 and to do this they complete an application explaining what the money will be used for and how it will benefit people.
We then ask tenants to review the information and vote on whether to award funding or not. We sometimes meet in-person, but you can take part from the comfort of your own home. The time commitment for this is just 60-mins every 5-6 weeks.
Full training and equipment will be provided along with exclusive access to football match tickets, soft play entry, theatre tickets, free coffee, gym sessions, health subscriptions and more.
If you’re interested, let us know by email get.involved@communitygateway.co.uk or register below.
